Caveo CEO Jeff Carpenter Appointed to Roosevelt U. Advisory Board

Roosevelt University in Chicago has tapped Caveo Learning CEO Jeff Carpenter as an adviser to its Graduate Program in Training and Development.

Carpenter earned a master's degree in training and development from Roosevelt in 1999 and is a former instructor in the program. He founded Caveo in 2004.

As a member of the Alumni Advisory Board, Carpenter will provide insight into real-world trends, challenges, and opportunities impacting the learning & development profession. Given Caveo's overarching mission to help learning organizations deliver proven business value, Carpenter will offer guidance for integrating business-focused compentencies like strategy development and ROI reporting into the training and development curriculum.

"Roosevelt University's training and development graduate program is well respected among learning professionals for helping to modernize our industry," Carpenter says. "The school gave me the foundational tools to succeed in L&D, and I'm excited to contribute my experience and expertise to help shape the next generation of learning leaders."

The goal of the Alumni Advisory Board is to provide a strategic link between academics and the learning & development profession, with the aim of improving curriculum development, strategic planning, internships, and mentoring programs.
