Caveo Learning CEO Jeff Carpenter has been invited to present at the 2017 Training Industry Conference & Expo, April 11-13 at the Raleigh Convention Center in North Carolina.
Carpenter's presentation is titled, "Winning Respect and Budget: Practical Steps for Aligning Training with Business." He will share strategies for aligning training with the business for maximum impact and effectively proving the business value of training to other departmental areas, in relevant and comprehensible terms.
Carpenter's session is scheduled for 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12.

"We training industry professionals rarely get the credit we deserve for impacting employee performance and bottom-line results. It’s incredibly frustrating, but if we’re being honest, we share the blame. We often fail to communicate our successes using language and metrics that resonate with other business leaders, and our training goals don’t always sync up with what our counterparts in other functional areas had in mind."
Carpenter holds a master’s in training and development from Roosevelt University and a bachelor’s in human resources from the University of Nebraska. His recent conference speaking appearances include the Center for Talent Reporting’s Annual Conference, the Society for Human Resource Management’s International Conference, Elliott Masie’s Learning Conference, the Corporate L&D Institute, and the Learning Leaders Conference.
