ATD Chicagoland's Workplace Learning & Performance Institute, hosted by Caveo Learning, announces its fall lineup of course facilitators.
A certificate program designed and facilitated by working professionals in the learning and development industry, WLPI is intended as formal instruction for “accidental trainers” and others new to L&D, as well as for experienced professionals who desire more knowledge about a particular niche within the field.
The 2016 fall session of WLPI runs from September to November, with courses offered Saturdays at Caveo's headquarters in Schaumburg, Illinois. Courses may be taken individually or as a full program.

Facilitators: Sarah Frost, a learning and development specialist at DePaul University; Joe Tota, VP of strategic services with Caveo Learning and a past president of ATDChi
- October 1: Human Performance Improvement
Facilitator: Deb Pastors, president of Education Development Growth Enterprise and a past president of ATDChi
- October 8: Designing Learning
Facilitator: Jann Iaco, eLearning training specialist with Crate&Barrel and a Certified Professional of Learning and Performance
- October 15: Blended Learning Materials Development
Facilitator: Tom West, owner of Cardinal Point Learning Systems and the president-elect of ATDChi
- October 22: Training Delivery
Facilitator: Joelyne Marshall, a learning solutions manager with Caveo Learning
- October 29: Evaluating Learning Impact
Facilitator: Ken Phillips, CEO of Phillips Associates and a nationally renowned authority on learning measurement and evaluations

DePaul University and Roosevelt University both offer graduate course credit for completion of the full WLPI program. In addition, the Human Resources Certification Institute recognizes WLPI courses as equal to six hours of nonstrategic credit toward the continuing education component of its Professional in Human Resources certification.
